The collection has a graphic streetwear feel, and includes four items: a short-sleeve tee, long-sleeve tee, hoodie, and sweatpants. (Prices range from $50 to $160). The pieces are screen-printed with images of eagle feathers. To go with the drop, the clothes were recently photographed on elders from the Navajo reservation (including Shirley’s grandmother Nellie Shirley) in Shirley’s hometown of Lupton, Arizona. It was something the duo wanted to do to spotlight the beauty of Indigenous elders.
The collection also benefits a good cause: Born x Raised will be donating a portion of the merch proceeds to Unity, the nation’s largest organization of youth councils which benefit Native teens through spiritual, mental, physical, and social support. You can shop the cool new collection here.
